The BC Materials Exchange program is a free service that encourages the transfer of materials between generators and potential users of "waste" materials. If you or your organization generates a "waste" material which could be of use to another organization, you can SAVE MONEY on disposal -- and the other organization can SAVE MONEY on purchasing (examples of materials are buckets or pails, old paint, office supplies, furniture, chemicals, etc.). The first point of contact with the BC Materials Exchange program is the Recycling Council of British Columbia's toll free hotline at 1-800-667-4321 or visit their website at http://www.rcbc.bc.ca/.
