Programs

The Nelson & District Community Complex offers a great selection of recreational programs for all ages and interests. We welcome program suggestions and would love to hear that you are interested in sharing your skills and teaching a program! Please contact our Recreation Programmer for more information on offering a recreation program through the Community Complex.

Subsidies

KidSport Nelson (6-18 years)

The Nelson chapter of KidSport can help with your child's registration fees for eligible sport activities. Download an application form below or pick one up at the Nelson Regional Sports Council office, 225 Hall Street.

Stars for Success (0-6 years)

Success by 6 has created this program that will direct community fund raised dollars to financially assist young children to attend recreational programs that begin before their sixth birthday. Download an application form below or for more information e-mail info@successby6wk.com.

Kids Camps

Schools out, what do you do with the kids? Register your kids today in one of the many exciting kids camps offered at the NDCC.

Summer Fun Activity Camp

Age: 6-12 years

This daily summer program makes use of the many local recreation opportunities and community resources found in our area. Theme days and special events will get the kids involved and learning new things all summer long! We offer some of the best summer activities around: tours, special guests, swimming, crafts, trips to the beach, sports and so much more!
