CRESTON & DISTRICT COMMUNITY COMPLEX

FACILITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT

APRIL 6, 2009

Another swim season approaches for the James Ross Memorial Pool, and yet with the structure of hope rising in the background we believe this will truly be its last year.

The elevator shaft looks on luminously as its second story gets formed.

The monotonous task of back filling is nearly complete for the Hedland crew… at least for this leg of the journey.

Doug, from NW, looks over the basement of the new Aquatic facility as the surge tank is being formed.

As Bruce and Doug discuss the project, in the background support columns are being formed in preparation to pour.

While out back, the CDCC side storage has been demolished in preparation for the electrical and water supply that will make the new Aquatic facility operational.

ARENA CHANGEROOMS

The New Arena changerooms have been a hub for finishing crews these past few weeks. Doors, sinks, hooks are all in, and the plumbing fixtures are currently being installed.

In addition to fixtures, valves have been installed on the water main for temporary water supply to the changerooms and a new hot water heater has been put in to ensure visiting teams have a less than chilling experience during their time here.

We are looking forward to the installation of flooring and tiles .

Busy outside is the faithful 3D Concrete pouring crew, diligently working to complete the upper platform for the emergency exit stairwell. NW stays ahead of the pouring as they finished the forming of the actual staircase.

The work looks great gentlemen; keep it up!
