Welcome to the Regional District of Central Kootenay

Incorporated in 1965, the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is one of 27 regional districts in the Province of British Columbia created to provide local government services and political accountability to residents of the unincorporated electoral (rural) areas.

The creation of Regional Districts opened the door for partnerships in service delivery and the management of issues that transcend municipal and electoral area boundaries, such as waste management, water distribution, fire protection and much more.    [learn more]

How to Setup IE8 to Work Correctly with PIMS

The RDCK has an interactive Property and Information Mapping System (PIMS) available at: http://mapinfo.rdck.bc.ca

This website contains parcel, zoning, ALR, floodplain, house numbering, and other data layers. Users can also access zoning bylaws and functions to measure distances, calculate areas and print custom pdf maps. This Property and Information Mapping System (PIMS) is intended for users who have high speed internet. The PIMS website is supported by IE7 & 8 web browsers only.
